Can I use gradient backgrounds in my email designs?
No. We recommend using solid colors, which helps keep the text itself editable. The text over the gradient is not editable because email clients will not properly support CSS backgrounds. The text within the image of a gradient would have to be an image, which is non-editable. If you want to get full use out of your template, you need editable text.
