THE SHORT ANSWER
A white label WooCommerce build covers store setup, payments, shipping, tax, custom templates and product imports, delivered under your brand. With us, stores start at $900 for up to 15 products and take 5 to 7 working days. Custom checkout rules and integrations are quoted separately.
Ecommerce projects scare a lot of agencies, and for good reason. A brochure site with a bug is annoying. A store with a bug loses money. That’s why white label WooCommerce work is one of the most common things agencies hand off.
Here is what a store build should include, how long it takes, and what changes the price.
01What’s included in a store build?
- Products, variations, categories and attributes set up.
- Payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal or Square, tested with real orders.
- Shipping zones and rates.
- Tax rules for the client’s country, as specified by the client or their accountant.
- Custom product, cart and checkout templates in your builder.
- Order emails styled with the client’s brand.
- Product imports from CSV, Shopify or another platform.
02How long does it take?
Most stores we build take 5 to 7 working days. This is the usual rhythm.
| Stage | Timing | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Day 0 | Products, payments, shipping and custom rules agreed |
| Quote | Day 1 | Fixed price and date in writing |
| Build | Days 2 to 5 | Store, templates and imports on staging |
| Test | Day 6 | Payments, emails, stock and refunds checked |
| Launch | Day 7 | Go live, plus a store guide video for the client |
03What changes the price?
Product count matters less than custom rules. These are the items that move a quote up.
- Custom pricing, like wholesale tiers or quantity discounts.
- Subscriptions, bookings or memberships.
- Integrations with an ERP, CRM or inventory system.
- Complex shipping, like freight or per-product rules.
- Migrating orders and customers, not just products.
FROM OUR DESK
The part agencies underestimate is testing. We place real orders with every payment method, refund them, and check every email the customer and the store owner receive before handoff.
04What should the agency prepare?
- The product list as a spreadsheet, with images in one folder.
- Payment gateway accounts in the client’s name.
- Shipping rates and the countries they ship to.
- Tax settings confirmed by the client.
- Legal pages: terms, returns and privacy.
PAYMENT ACCOUNTS BELONG TO THE CLIENT
Never set up Stripe or PayPal under your agency or your partner’s account. The client must own their payment accounts and their customer data.
05WooCommerce or Shopify?
Shopify is simpler to start. WooCommerce gives the client full ownership of their store and data, no platform transaction fees on top of the payment processor, and any feature WordPress can do. For clients who already run their site on WordPress, keeping the store there is usually the easier sell.
Selling a store this quarter?
From $900 for up to 15 products, tested with real orders, delivered under your brand.
06Common add-ons and what they add
Most stores need one or two features beyond the basics. These are the ones we quote most often.
| Feature | Typical tool | What it adds to the build |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | WooCommerce Subscriptions | Renewal emails, account pages and payment testing |
| Bookings | WooCommerce Bookings or a booking plugin | Calendars, availability rules and reminders |
| Wholesale pricing | A role-based pricing plugin | Customer roles, price rules and a trade signup form |
| Product filters | A filter plugin | Attribute setup and a faster shop page |
| Shipping labels | Carrier plugin or ShipStation | Carrier accounts and test labels |
Each one is quoted separately within 24 hours, so the base price stays clear.
07Payment setup checklist
Payments are where stores fail on launch day. Work through this list before the client tells anyone the store is open.
- Stripe, PayPal or Square accounts created and verified in the client’s legal name.
- Test mode first, then one small real order on the live keys, refunded straight after.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay checked on a real phone, not just a desktop browser.
- Payout bank details confirmed by the client, not by you.
- Order, refund and failed-payment emails received and readable on mobile.
08Keep the store fast
Stores carry more plugins and more dynamic pages than brochure sites, so speed takes a little planning.
- Turn on High-Performance Order Storage, WooCommerce’s faster way of storing orders.
- Exclude cart, checkout and account pages from page caching, and cache everything else.
- Set product image sizes once and regenerate them, so the shop page isn’t loading full-size photos.
- Keep the plugin list short. Every extra checkout add-on adds weight to the slowest pages.
- Choose hosting with enough PHP workers for busy sale days.
FROM OUR DESK
The slowest stores we audit are rarely slow because of WooCommerce itself. It is usually a page builder add-on on the product page, oversized images and no caching rules for logged-out shoppers.
09What the client gets at handoff
- A Shop Manager login for daily orders, with admin access kept for your agency.
- A store guide video under your brand: adding products, handling orders, issuing refunds.
- A one-page sheet of the store’s settings: tax, shipping zones, gateways and email senders.
- Backups scheduled and a first test restore done.
- A care plan option, so updates and checks don’t stop after launch.

10FAQ
How much does a white label WooCommerce store cost?
With us, from $900 for a store with up to 15 products, payments and shipping. Custom features are quoted separately within 24 hours.
Can you move a store from Shopify to WooCommerce?
Yes. Products, customers and orders can be moved. The theme, apps and checkout changes are rebuilt in WordPress. Our Shopify to WooCommerce migration guide covers every step.
Which page builders do you use for stores?
Whatever your agency sells, usually Divi 5 or Elementor Pro, with custom product and checkout templates.
Who supports the store after launch?
You do, under your brand, and we can do the work behind you through a white label care plan.
Does a WooCommerce store need special hosting?
It needs better hosting than a brochure site: enough PHP workers, object caching and caching rules that skip the cart and checkout. Most good managed WordPress hosts handle this well.
What is HPOS, and should it be on?
High-Performance Order Storage keeps orders in their own database tables, which is faster and more reliable. It is the default for new stores, and we turn it on for every build.
